Πολεοδομικός σχεδιασμός

Πολεοδομικός σχεδιασμός είναι ο βασικός τρόπος άσκησης πολεοδομικής πολιτικής. Αποτελεί το βασικότερο εργαλείο ρύθμισης του αστικού περιαστικού και εξωαστικού χώρου σε επίπεδο οικισμού, πόλης ή πολεοδομικού συγκροτήματος. Για τη ρύθμιση του χώρου σε επίπεδο υπερκείμενο της πόλης ή του διευρυμένου Δήμου, χρησιμοποιείται ο Χωροταξικός Σχεδιασμός. Ο Πολεοδομικός σχεδιασμός αποσκοπεί στην ορθολογική οργάνωση του χώρου με βάση τις αρχές της επιστήμης της Πολεοδομίας.

Η πόλη αποτελεί τον βασικό χώρο αναφοράς του πολεοδομικού σχεδιασμού, και το εκτάριο είναι η βασική μονάδα μέτρησης του.

Description of the studio

The educational objective is to focus on issues that emerge in the transition from the broader programmatic framework that regulates the development of the city to the design and the structure of urban space. These issues concern the compatibility between the logic of urban planning and the logic through which the urban space of the contemporary city is anticipated. Our main goal was to study and explore the "links" through which a better insight will be gained into the continuity of the city space and the continuity of the practice through which the city is planned, 'organized and architecturally shaped.

Extended Urban Design Studio

Description of the studio

This assignment offers an opportunity to approach issues of theory, methodology and technique and discuss problems inherent in the implementation of a design project.

The area under study is a neighbourhood in a peripheral municipality of Thessaloniki, comprising about 10 hectares of land.

City Thermaikos

urban_planning The area of our study is part of the City Thermaikos some 13 hectares of land that reaches the beach Perea.
According to the observations we made in the first phase of the analysis of the area concluded that despite the favorable geographical features, the area needs special care renewal both outdoor public spaces and a wider rage of roads
